Chocokoo is a story of a meeting accompanied by the joyful exploration of hot and cold. It’s a tale of finding yourself beyond the horizon where your inner self can sometimes hide. When you’re on a journey of self-discovery, it’s good to carry something from your previous life with you. Something to protect you. Such as a mitten if your journey begun from the north. And when your fingers have forgotten the chill, you can slip a little treat in the mitten. A treat given to you by a foreigner. In this way it won’t slide into oblivion when it melts.

Instead of melting the chocolate in your hand, the tension between people should be melted away – especially if the chocolate has been made with an open heart and inspiring enthusiasm. Chocokoo is a story not put into words that speaks through flavours. It talks about a faraway friendship that aroused the desire to make the finest chocolate. This is Chocokoo.

Chocokoo, founded by Kristel Lankots in 2015, is a passionate artisan chocolate maker and chocolatier in Tallinn, Estonia. We are making bean-to-bar chocolates, couverture chocolate bonbons & truffles, and chocolate workshops.

Chocokoo served bonbons and truffles in the reception of the President of the Republic of Estonia on the 24th of February 2016 in the honour of 98th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia.

Chocokoo chocolate truffles and bonbons are made with premium French couverture Valrhona, tasty fruit purees, natural products of Estonian nature, cream and butter.

Chocokoo bean-to-bar chocolate bars are made from cacao beans of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Viatnam, Philippines and other origins in ourworkshop in Telliskivi Creative City in Tallinn, Estonia.

The Process

Bonbons and truffles are crafted based on special recipes and are filled with fruity, chocolatey or caramel ganache.

Bean-to-bar chocolate is made from scratch from cacao beans that we acquire from different countries. We clean, roast, grind and turn the beans into chocolate mass adding only unrefined cane sugar. This is how craft chocolate with pure taste is made.
